Ultraband – Bringing superfast broadband to Nottingham

Ultraband is our name for superfast broadband – not just faster, but more reliable and with variable pricing according to your needs on an hourly basis.

This is not a sales pitch from another internet service provider desperate for your business.

We are a public sector, not-for-profit partnership whose focus is to improve Greater Nottingham’s economy through the use of technology. See About Us for more information on that.

At the moment, getting better or faster broadband than the standard packages available is either impossible or impossibly expensive. We know that many people need more, but can’t have it – that’s a problem, because we want Greater Nottingham to be a place where businesses, organisations and people want to be. With so many of us now dependent on the internet, a lack of affordable, high-speed, high-quality connections will make that difficult.

Our role is to find ways to bring Ultraband to Greater Nottingham, as soon as we can. Our first target is the Lace Market, because of the high concentration of creative and internet-based businesses there.
